These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kryvox platform operated by Continental Aero Flying School ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using Kryvox, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Platform Description
Kryvox is a flight school management platform providing operations, scheduling, maintenance, training, compliance, and AI-powered features through web and mobile applications. The platform includes the Operations Hub, Staff Portal, Student Portal, AMO Portal, CAMO Portal, Stakeholder Portal, and mobile applications.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- Organization administrators are responsible for managing user access within their organization
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without permission
- Misrepresent your identity or organizational affiliation
- Use AI features to generate false aviation records or compliance documents
4. Subscription and Payment
- Plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout
- Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
- Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the next billing cycle
- Overage charges are billed at the per-unit rate specified in your plan
- Annual plans are non-refundable after 30 days
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
5. Data Ownership
- Your data belongs to you. Flight records, training data, maintenance records, and all operational data entered into Kryvox remain your property
- You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the platform services
- We do not sell, share, or use your data for purposes other than operating the platform
- You may export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF)
6. AI Features
- AI features (study companion, checkride simulator, maintenance analysis, mental coaching) are provided as decision-support tools only
- AI outputs do not constitute professional advice. Always verify AI-generated information with qualified aviation professionals
- AI maintenance analysis is supplementary to — not a replacement for — qualified AME inspection
- AI coaching is not a substitute for licensed mental health care
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
7. Aviation Compliance Disclaimer
Kryvox is a management tool, not a regulatory authority. While our platform helps track compliance requirements, it is the responsibility of each flight school, AMO, and individual pilot to ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations (CAAP, NZ CAA, DGCA, or other applicable authorities). Kryvox does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice.
8. Service Availability
- We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance
- We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (internet outages, third-party service failures, force majeure)
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kryvox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days
- After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Cebu City, Philippines.
